Nufft-based Imaging of Vegetation on Graphic Cards

چکیده
We present an algorithm for the fast tomography of vegetation, based on a Radon mathematical setting and on the combined use of advanced processing algorithms (NonUniform FFTs) and hardware resources (Graphic Processing Units GPUs). The algorithm performance is firstly numerically estimated, showing the favorable trade off between faithfulness and speed, and highlighting the convenience of the GPU implementation against that on CPU. Experimental results on anechoic chamber data complete the algorithm assessment.

GPU-BASED ω-k TOMOGRAPHIC PROCESSING BY 1D NON-UNIFORM FFTS
We present an ω-k approach based on the use of a 1D NonUniform FFT (NUFFT) routine, of NER (Non-Equispaced Results) type, programmed on a GPU in CUDA language, amenable to realtime applications. A Matlab main program links, via mex files, a compiled parallel (CUDA) routine implementing the NUFFT. The approach is shown to be an extension of an already developed parallel algorithm based on standa...
متن کاملFGG-NUFFT-Based Method for Near-Field 3-D Imaging Using Millimeter Waves
In this paper, to deal with the concealed target detection problem, an accurate and efficient algorithm for near-field millimeter wave three-dimensional (3-D) imaging is proposed that uses a two-dimensional (2-D) plane antenna array. First, a two-dimensional fast Fourier transform (FFT) is performed on the scattered data along the antenna array plane. Then, a phase shift is performed to compens...
متن کاملGPR Migration Imaging Algorithm Based on NUFFT
Stolt migration is one of the useful GPR imaging algorithms, which has the advantage of fast implementation speed. The fast Fourier transform of integral formula in image reconstruction is realized by coordinate transformation and done through interpolation. Interpolation determines the effectiveness of imaging directly. In the practical applications, zero-fill interpolation in time-domain is u...

Forward-looking imaging has extensive potential applications, such as self-navigation and self-landing. By choosing proper geometry, bistatic synthetic aperture radar (BiSAR) can break through the limitations of monostatic SAR on forward-looking imaging and provide possibility of the forwardlooking imaging. In this special bistatic configuration, two problems involving large range cell migratio...
متن کاملModified Wavenumber Domain Algorithm for Three-dimensional Millimeter-wave Imaging
Millimeter-wave (MMW) imaging techniques have been used for the detection of concealed weapons and contraband carried on personnel at airports and other secure locations. The combination of frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) technology and MMW imaging techniques should lead to compact, light-weight, and low-cost systems which are especially suitable for security and detection applicatio...
